We have a request (part of a wider photo research we are doing) for a PPHP reader looking to clear rights on images of her great aunt artist Elva Blacker. Elva lived in and around Surrey in the UK and painted RAF pilots based at Biggin Hill air field during WW2.
We have located news feature images of Elva through the Surrey Advertiser and The Staits Times in Singapore …now we are down to the tough search individual freelance photographers. Above is all we have on the verso of a print by Brian J. Hebditch.
