Hope all is well.
Since I last spoke to you in the Summer, I have secured work at the Warburg Institute (University of London), where I am digitising books from the library.
I have also been doing a regular slot on BBC Radio London’s Robert Elms Show , about London’s Industrial history.
Off the back of this, I am going to work up a book, with a string visual element, and that means – archives!
Now, I’m trying to track down the rights owners to some photos accredited to ‘Charles K Bowers and Sons’ – who took this image attached, which was reproduced in a 1984 book called ‘The Making of Modern London’.
Do you know about Charles K Bowers?
