A publisher has contacted the Press Photo History Project looking for a photo feature on the racing driver Richard Seaman’s last weekend at the grand prix at Spa in Belgium in an issue of Picture Post dated July 15, 1939.
‘The prints carry the stamp of an agency called Reflect. It seems that the photographer and writer in question were Belgian, I guess based in Brussels or Liege. It would also be good to know if there is a chance of tracing any surviving unused prints or negs from the weekend in question. It was a photo essay, so there must have been quite a lot of stuff left over.”
Any ideas on the whereabouts of Reflect please contact the PPHP [email protected]
